HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADE!!!!
So our lady Addie is 33. Who woulda thought? no one can even tell by looking at her that she is the oldest of the infamous beatty siblings. in fact, should we still be making this age stuff public? is it taking away from our air of mystery in the public eye? (furthermore, do we pat ourselves on the back a little too much simply for being us?)
in any case, she was born 33 years ago today and nothing has ever EVER been the same. i for one cannot imagine life without her. none of can, because she paved the way for us and had crazy fits for us and got super dramatic for us and cried and screamed and laughed and dorked out and danced and sang and did everything to the maximum capacity and potential because that is simply the way she is. the most amazingly vital, expressive and passionate person i know. she helped us all know that we are a family who accepts emotions and conversations and tantrums and poetry and constant change and forward movement and laugh attacks and nerdy cry-fests over old squirrels because that is how are hearts are made to be large. thanks addie for being that example.

Now that you'll soon be a permanent Placervillian, we'll have to do some trips over to your *old* neck of the woods, just cause it was great over there and we didn't get to see it enough! I love all these pictures of my darling beautiful birthday girl. I can't believe you're 33 Addie, you look 23!! It was so fun to be at your birthday party! I love being a part of what all you young people are doing. Thanks for posting a blog in honor of the Birthday girl, Heather. You are our hero always pulling the family together for one last fun party, thank you and Darin so much for all you do and for generously allowing us all to be at your comfortable, beautiful, cozy home. A place where love and cats and friends and family abide.
