I just got back from 2 days on a lake, you can only get there by boat, or by hiking. We took a boat.
It was beautiful like that.
wow joey i really really love these wilderness pics. i am having a fit of jealousy at the moment, not just for you but others too, like dave eggers and his wife vendela vida and their baby named october, and the fact that they are both authors....uh oh...looks like i better get off my arse and DO SOMETHINGS!!!!
Joey, I never really said but these freakin pictures blow my mind. The one overlooking that long grey valley with the few lakes, and cloud shadows, and mountains on the other side - it makes me want to tear out of here and spread wings and climb every mountain in the world! Seriously. That picture is akin to some few we had taken when climbing mono pass so many years ago (something we certainly need to do again) and also reminds me of some of the best moments of reading Lord of the Rings and the mountains heading into Mordor. nicely done with that
oh yeah and the one of you in the greens is funny. your stance makes you look like you just grew all those plants and that you're proud and showing them to us.
