Halloween blubventures

Hey Guys. So, not trying to compete or anything with the Utahr business (since it's likely our life is no match for the lives of three amazing children and their gorgeous parents and grandparent/uncle/sigfig)
But Candice and I wanted to write a Halloween blog as well.

First thing's First: we needed pumpkins.
so last week we drove up the coast to the infamous Lemos Farms Pumpkin Patch!

Hwy 1 deserves a stop for ocean views

then we followed the signs to the pumpkin patch

arriving we were greeted warmly by the locals

The Lemos Pumpkin Patch includes:

a petting zoo

a 15 minute wait to cross the street

a colonel

fellow pumpkin-hunters

us

SO, we grabbed some punks and drove home.

HALLOWEEN DAY
:

Bluster. Rain. Wind. It's Halloween!

We carved

and ate

and carved

until...

meanwhile, Mikie had to go to his play (Two episodes of Goosebumps) Candice had some costume-making to do before coming to Mikie's show to watch him run ridiculously around on-stage in front of 200ish drunk and happy university students.
After the show, the real Halloween celebrations were to begin!

MAY I PRESENT

the Tree

the Treehugger

Together the unstoppable pair
would fight for the rights of blub and Nature,
all Halloween night long!

...

and so ends our Halloween blubfest. It was merry times and scary times and fine times to be remembered.
From Santa Cruz, this is Mikie and Candice.

yaaayyyy again! i have been waiting for this for a long time migs. why is it that pictures of you and candice in semi-matching clothes seems to make my day???!! that pic of you guys on the coast both wearing suave cream and brown clothing with that gorgeous ocean in the background as you describe your adorable trip to the pumpkin patch, well it left me with a grin so wild it's a bit scary. seriously you two are the cutest couple. it is insane how perfectly you go together. THE TREE!!!! so gorgeous. i love candice for doing a non-traditional girl's halloween costume that could be, maybe even should be, totally non-sexy, and still somehow looking gorgeous and sexy without trying so hard like all the sexy nurses out there!!! good job you beautiful muse! your halloween night looked so so fun and i love the pumpkins you carved, with the flashing lights, you two are spooky pros and you should rent out your services next year!

when we all have kids, can we please take a whole bunch of em to that pumpkin patch!? to kiss goats' noses and feel the coastal air and bask in everything heavenly about california.

mikie you make a stunning tree hugger. i am not a hundred percent sure about the tree hugger's gender, but hey, that's okay. at first i thought you were going for butterfly, is that her name, that ex-model who lived in a redwood tree for a couple years a few hundred feet up from the ground? but the moustache kinda threw that off. anyway you and candice get the most creative prize and i can't wait to hear and see about more adventures you guys are up to. i love you and MISS YOU!!! how was the play??

mikie, me and art were diggin on this so much! He loves the vid of you in the room, bumbling with that lamp for a second. Art said he hopes you grow up to look just like that guy!....I am SO glad I got to see the pumpkins you were working on when I spoke with ya on the phone. Your Screeam one is awesome, Candices' looks like Garfield...they are adorable. I wish I got any photos of Art and my pumpkins. Or our costumes...but at least Heather did.
Seriouusly, rad idea, tree and treehugger, what a perfect excuse for undercover sleaziness......! :) I love you both, so glad that ya live together. I hope y'all are standing that situation with flying colours. I HAVE GOT to come visit. Oh, by the way...your pumpkin finding trip is beautiful. My most favorite drive in the world besides Highway 395 is Highway 1.
I have to take the drive soon and see you. I can't wait to see your house! And know what the h has been going on in your lives! You're voting today, RIGHT? Of course you are!

ps-Maybe candice can STAY in our family???//////???
