We had a busy day. These are the pictures from my camera so they are not the best and are not all the pictures of everything. Nana has the pictures on her camera from this morning's storytime when the kids got dressed up. But this is this afternoon we went over to BYU and fed the ducks. Oey of course had a blast throwing food to the ducks. And I was so glad your mom could be here to enjoy little things like this with the kids. It was so beautiful and warm. Just the perfect day. Felt like a dream just watching the kids run around the pond . This picture is of Nana and Oey pointing at the baby turtles.

Nana treats the kids, oey stunned that he got one too. This summer, Matt and the kids would chase down the ice cream truck. Oey and I would just watch them from the house and always they would come back with no treat for oey. It was always the most heartbreaking thing.

And some of this, carving pumpkins. We made homemade veggie pizza and Joey and Emily made me a apple caramel cake- yum!! Nana also worked in Jaroms class for over a hour, and will be helping with the Halloween party tomorrow. There is so much excitement in the air for tomorrow. Matt's work says they have to dress up for work and we get to go trick or treat there and then we will hit up center st. And Addie, thank you so much for my cute birthday skirt, I'm wearing it now!! The kids loved all there gifts too. I'll try and get Nana's pictures and Matt's for you tomorrow. We love and Miss you all. xoxo

oh yaaayyy! you guys sure had a full day, i can't believe that was only the first full day they were there. i am so glad you posted this (you know me too well) i've been dying to hear some news about the visit. you know i am just squirming not getting to be there. anyway the pictures are adorable. you're right the day is a perfect fall day and the kids are so cute in their halloween shirts and oey pointing at the turtles with nana just melts my heart. also, i can't believe there are turtles! i thought they needed warmer climates!
then the whole ice cream man thing broke my heart: first your story about how Oey was stunned to actually get one this time and then to see Jarom looking so GROWN UP! and bella's cute smile up in an earlier one, and how she sits right by nana on the step. what a great bunch of kids. i am so so so jealous. even guitar hero and seeing that amazing moustache of matt's up close in person!
matt you are kinda a hipster, or something...?? I love it. you look good as a hip hillbilly truckster. is that the look? i can't wait to see pics of halloween costumes.
also i am jealous that emily and joey got to meet your friends, i think that is khyl and michelle? that pumpkin carving party looks so fun and good homemade food to eat!! i'm writhing. we didn't even carve our pumpkins this year. but at least my busiest week ever is over at school and now i get to go to a halloween party tonight.

Anything for you HEather! Nana has said a couple times already how this trip is just not the same without you and then we all agree we miss you. Good call on the friends, they are Michelle and Bennett. We went to DI yesterday to try and find last minute outfits for today and so did everyone else in provo. Crazy. okay, so michelle and russell, i love you two. the hang out here makes me so happy. matt and amy i am so glad you have made neat friends in utah. sorry to use the word neat, dad-style, but sometimes it is just so appropriate. we are going to a halloween party now and i've been thinking about you guys and the kids all day, and joey and em, and momma. someday we will all be attending the same halloween festivities!!! love you all.
