I just saw that the other day. What wonderful acknowledgement of the things that are truly important in life. Thanks for posting it Heather.

man I got goose bumps at the end. It is still hard to believe that it ever happened and that we have all moved on. I can remember that day so well- from the first crying phone call that woke Matt and I up as newly weds. I can't believe Adie was THERE!!! I like his message of the things that matter most- the simple things and children. I always need a little wake up call to want to do better in every which way. His story was perfect. We need to always remember what matters most. I pray. pray .pray that a 9-11 will never happen again. We must always remember how truly blessed we are.

He got a second chance at his life. And he'll never stop being grateful. The best way to live.

wanna know something dumb/weird? i first saw this video on rockstar diaries blog. which i have mixed feelings on but i don't care, she puts some nice inspiring stuff up. anyway i looked at the comments for the video and they were all good until the last one that said, "this narcisstic jerk thinks thousands of people had to die just so god could teach him a lesson." am i crazy or is that ABSOLUTELY missing the point here and oversimplifying the much deeper message of the video and mr. guzman's story? anyway sometimes i think people just enjoying being a little bit mean. she posted the comment anyway after approving it so she must think it is worth thinking about? but obviously what amy said and addie said are the true messages, it is a very personal story and also reexamines the value of those lives that were lost. it is all about valuing LIFE and connections with our loved ones. that's why i love it.
